The Carnival World Buffet lives up to its name and to expectations! Diners rave about the numerous buffet stations featuring over 300 dishes and desserts, most of which are prepared on a daily basis to ensure world-class quality.

History

Currently known as the Carnival World & Seafood Buffet at the Rio, it is actually the result of the combination of the Carnival World Buffet and the Village Seafood Buffet. Both of these buffets are considered iconic in Las Vegas and, thus, their combination resulted in one of the city’s best buffet experiences.

What They Are Famous For

The buffet is most famous for its more than 300 dishes prepared fresh on a daily basis – more than 70 are seafood dishes while 200 more include a wide range of dishes including pizzas, sushi, omelets, carved meats, and Asian barbecues. Aside from the mouthwatering array of dishes, the buffet also features chefs at a live-action cooking station as well as a dessert and gelato stations.

Why Dine Here

With more than 300 dishes and desserts to choose from, diners can virtually eat their way around the world while still in Las Vegas! The selections include but are not limited to sushi and teppanyaki; pizza and omelets; Asian barbecue and carved meats in several cuts; homemade pies, pastries and cakes; and nine gelato flavors including chocolate as well as sorbets.

The seafood selections are overflowing, too, with snow crab legs, freshly-shucked oysters, and shrimp, to name a few of the sea’s bounties for your dining pleasure. You can place as many seafood on your plate as you want but be sure to leave room for other dishes and dessert. You may even be delighted to see hard-to-fond seafood being offered.

Since the buffet stations are separated according to cuisine, you should have an easy time navigating between the food selections. You will find that every food preference can be addressed here, whether it’s for gluten-free food or for vegetarian options. You can have the juices and fountain drinks for free (i.e., complimentary with the buffet pass) but the alcoholic drinks should be paid for separately.

The buffet is also among the most family-friendly buffet places in Las Vegas. You can bring your family and friends to enjoy the casual and comfortable atmosphere although business meetings are also possible in selected areas in the restaurant. You can book the private dining room for weddings, anniversaries, and parties, which your guests will love with its dramatic lighting, beautiful water features, and great banquettes.

If you are a Total Rewards Diamond member, you will also get front-of-the-line access although you don’t need to be a member to enjoy the Rio’s excellent customer service.
