Fogo de Chao Prices

Listed as one of America’s Top Restaurants in 2006 by Zagat Survey, the restaurant is a destination for steak lovers and as seen in the latest Fogo de Chao prices below, a reasonable option. In 1979, two sets of brothers founded the company—they are the Cosers and Ongarattos. The word Fogo de Chao literally means “fire on the ground” and refers to an authentic Brazilian style of cooking meat.

History

The brothers had formal training in churrasqueiro and developed the Fogo concept both in Rio Grande do Sul and moving to Rio and São Paulo. Fogo de Chao, which means ‘fire on the ground,’ encapsulates the time-honored gaucho technique of roasting meats over fire. When they saw the opportunity to open in the United States, in 1997, they opened their first US restaurant in Dallas, Texas—all due to the requests of their loyal guests from the US.

In 2012, the company sold its shares to Thomas H. Lee Partners, an American private equity firm. As a full-service, fine dining Brazilian steakhouse, the company currently has nine locations in Brazil, and 29 locations in America. With new locations constantly being added, you can be sure to find a convenient location near you.

In Fogo de Chao prices menu, you can find the same set of foods for lunch and dinner. You will notice however that the prices will differ. Do note that they have a fixed price for their tableside meat service and unlimited salad bar. With numerous delicious side dishes in addition to the main menu, you just can’t go wrong with the choices. In addition, most locations have excellent service with a friendly, attentive staff that is happy to answer any questions you might have.
