The Mongolian chain was founded by Billy “BD” Downs. He got the restaurant idea after he and his wife visited a similar establishment in London. With headquarters in Royal Oak, Michigan, BD’s can be found in 2 countries, 11 states and more than 25 locations. They are also the first American restaurant franchise to open in Mongolia.

From their restaurants, you can enjoy unlimited salad and home-made soup, one bowl, tortillas, mongo fried rice, lettuce wrap, and many more. Their weekly specials include Happy Hour, Student Night, and Kids’ Night.

Their success can be attributed to their core values:

  • Teamwork – They are committed to provide their personal best at all times by succeeding together as a team.
  • Growth – They understand that growth is essential not only for the company, but for every team member, to be prosperous in what they do.
  • Fun – An important factor in the growth of their brand, fun is needed for a healthy working environment and an unforgettable dining experience for the customers.
  • Community – The company recognizes the need to be involved in the things that are happening in the community, and the need to be responsible for the well-being of their people and their guests.
